{ 18 simlish horror-themed recolors of misstiikeri+eir's m2f crooked tee } what a mouthful lmao
i wasn't too sure about how these had turned out at first, but after seeing them in game they actually grew on me, so here they are. thank you @gvaudoiin-tricou for encouraging me to finish them and share! i hope you like them :-)
since this is essentially a mash-up of several people's work (see credits), frankenstein-ed together, it feels pretty appropriate for the theme.... 🧟‍♂️🔪🦇🩸👽 consider this a tiny late simblreen treat, hehe 🎃
these separate tops are for AF only*, since that's what i needed in my game (but the TF/EF meshes should be easy to copy-paste onto) [edit: *added links to an AM version as well]
they are categorized as everyday, sleepwear and athletic (not sure who would want to sleep or exercise in fishnets but hey i'm not judging. also it's really easy to remove them if you like, since they're a separate texture from the shirt)
compressorized, tooltipped, and the files are labeled clearly. the swatch and previews are included in the rar file.
full disclosure, this mesh has a few issues i don't currently have the skills to fix: it has no fat morph (😑), and there is some clipping in places depending on how the sim moves, and a few dark spots (not super noticeable with the black texture, thankfully). if anyone feels inspired to fix the mesh or add morphs, i'll happily update this post and the linked file.
>>> get them here: { SFS } { MF } [edit: AM version here: { SFS } { MF } ]
credits, swatch & unedited pic under the cut.
swatch: (labeled according to the file names for easy id; i suck at reading simlish so 'flash' was all i could understand from that one, apologies if it's incorrect lol)
Tumblr media
unedited preview: (taken in-game, with neutral lighting)

credits: the77sims & misstiikeri (original male mesh & 3t2 conversion) eir (m2f conversion) trillyke (fishnets), monilisasims (4t2 conversion) littlecakes (graphics), kalux (4t2 conversion) surprisepeach (graphics)

Anakin as Obi-Wan's Campaign Manager?? Say more right now please!
correction - anakin (19yo) as obi-wan (35yo)'s nonconsensual campaign manager
here's a bit more! all just set up, i have no idea what i want out of this fic yet word-count wise. structure wise. etc.
The Kenobi thing happens accidentally, honestly. Anakin isn’t even sure how he got into it, but at the end of September, Padmé had mentioned how formative canvassing had been to her own political outlook, how impactful it had been to help out on a campaign, and Anakin had thought—that’s it. I can do that, and then she'll see we have things in common and then she'll fall in love with me. And that night, he’d gone to his apartment and researched upcoming local elections. He’d found the list of people running for the city council, and he’d chosen one at a random. Obi-Wan Kenobi was thirty-five and up for re-election. He’d first been elected four years ago, at thirty-one, one of the youngest city councilmen in the history of Coruscant, running—as far as Anakin could tell—on the issue of city infrastructure and misuse and diversion of funds away from public goods like pothole-less roads to drive on. Even just reading the summary on the guy’s past campaign had been boring as hell, but he’d won, is the thing. He’d won, which means he has a good shot of winning it again, which would make it incredibly easy to help him along. Not many people vote in city council elections—fact. Not many people vote for names they don’t recognize, and they have a higher chance of recognizing an incumbent’s name over a challenger’s—fact. It’s only impressive to canvas for a campaign if the guy you’re canvassing for is elected—fact. So Obi-Wan Kenobi was a safe choice. A stellar choice. Anakin hit the books that weekend, printed out a bunch of blurbs on what the guy’s done—apparently it’s been mostly advocating for filling in potholes on what Anakin would bet his tuition money on is the guy’s commute to work—and hit the streets to drum up support for him. The election is in the middle of November, and today is October 2nd. Half the doors Anakin knocks on remain unopened, a fourth are closed in his face, and the remaining percentage are either not registered to vote or seem lukewarm to the idea of voting in a city council election at all. Three different elderly ladies have asked him if Kenobi is running for president. Hell, next time he’s just going to say yes. —--------- But Ahsoka isn’t wrong. Anakin hates to admit it, but he knows he has to. She’s not wrong. Something needs to change in his strategy because he’s not getting the numbers he needs. Honestly, this whole adventure has made him lose faith in the effectiveness of democracy. Maybe dictatorships aren’t so bad. It’s not like these people are voting anyway. He’s smart enough to keep this observation to himself, of course, but he wonders what could have been so eye-opening about Padmé’s time canvassing when Anakin’s having a hard enough time making this whole thing door-opening.

recently i've been making an effort to go through and play a lot of the games that have been languishing in my steam library (for many years, at this point...) here are my brief thoughts on a few so far:
gone home - this was constantly recommended on my old post about haunted house games. i actually bought this back around when it was first published, 2015/2016. and i think if i had played it at that time, it would have really hit for me. i've discussed birdland here previously and 2015 is around the time i played that game, too (probably my first exposure to interactive text games) and it had a profound impact on me as a younger lesbian who hadn't quite come to terms with my identity yet. all that to say, i recommend this if you're looking for a short, atmospheric experience (i played with headphones and definitely got creeped out a few times) but prepare for a bit of a dated narrative. some of the art was done by E.M. Carroll, a name you might recognize from their viral comics.
TACOMA - this game came out back in 2017, and it's another walking sim similar to gone home and from the same developers, though it has a bit more interaction, namely a mechanic where you "reconstruct" scenes and play through them to extract data. but this one definitely felt dated. not entirely, to be fair, some parts did still feel evergreen, specifically around the discussion of AI and human labor rights... but TACOMA chooses to focus more on "AI rights" in the end, which feels a little silly in this day and age, and in general it's a sci-fi game, so it's a bit more fantastical than what we're seeing now in real time. also there was a magazine i found that had an article referring to "president musk of south africa" which induced a full body cringe from me. E.M. Carroll appears here again and is credited with the character concepts, i really enjoyed their designs of the crew & the crew themselves as we slowly learned more about them and their relationships while moving through the station. it's a little longer than gone home but still pretty short, and i did enjoy it, so i recommend it if you can get over the dated AI depiction. i really liked the reconstruction mechanic, and following the "ghosts" around the station. (if you can't tell, i enjoy games where i get to be nosy and go through people's stuff)
Milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk - so i made the mistake of playing this without realizing it was the sequel rather than the first... i don't think it impacted too much but i would probably recommend to play it in order, so play Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk first (unfortunately i don't have this one myself). i find this game kinda hard to review, but i really liked the way the player served as the mc's internal voice, and how the game & its mechanics are utilized and contextualized within the narrative as a way for us, "The Voice," to make choices for her, if that makes sense (there's some fourth wall breaking too, which is always fun; she refers to herself as a VN character at one point). i liked all of this, the art and the writing & the animations, though all in all i'm not quite sure how much of it i fully understood, and this could also be because i played it out of order (or it could just be abstract on purpose). i did also only playthrough once, but i believe there are a lot of possible variations, and it takes a lot of trial and error to see everything. i tried my best to be kind to her and help her out :( however i did like how there wasn't always a "nice" option, just like a real internal voice would work; you aren't always kind to yourself even when you should be...
the next few i hope to get through are Mundaun, Saint Maker, and Sub-Verge :3

One thing I find very fun abt Siffrin and the King is how Siffrin projects onto him when trying to assume what his wish was. Because while yes it's true that the King wants to preserve vaugarde and keep it from meeting the same fate as the forgotten country, to me at least it seems implied that the wish itself was more so tied to the country, more specifically remembering it. I have thoughts and hcs abt the specifics, but the fact that when the King is finally defeated for realsies it's through being frozen by his own curse, and how he remembers it all in his final moments, yet for the rest of time, makes me Really think this was all some really fucky roundabout way of achieving a wish relating to that remembering (plus him every other time he's defeated saying not yet not when I still cant say it or whatever)
Siffrin meanwhile Never assumes that's what the wish was about. He figures it was to preserve vaugarde, create a perfect picture in time, to avoid a future where he loses it all. It's the difference between clinging to the past and fearing the future, and while to some extent both probably apply to the both of them, they weigh much more heavily in one direction than the other, and yet they can still find much of what they desire in the other's version of stilling time

CLASSIFIED
HASA Interspace Investigation Coalition Investigator Reassessment Team
For: the Mission Critical Event Occurring on Stardate 2104.119
Stardate: 2104.123, Location: HCS Influence
Responses recorded using the Automated Question and Answer System (AQNA) aboard the HCS Influence.
Recorded responses enclosed.
Begin transcribed data.
Interview for: IIC Employee #7717
Stated Name: Hels
SESSION BEGIN
AQNA [Generated Text Question]: Please explain the events of [stardate 2104.119]. Subject (Hels) [Recorded Verbal Response]: Well that’s an easy question. We got ambushed, that's what f—ing happened. It was supposed to be a standard datum extraction from a site that was supposed to be abandoned, because nobody decided it would be a good idea to check again. So we got ambushed mid-mission. That's what happened. AQNA: Can you elaborate on the event that triggered the call-back sequence? Hels: What, you want me to draw you a diagram? [No AQNA Text Question Generated] Hels: So no diagram? [No AQNA Text Question Generated] Hels: The drop-squad successfully made ground contact after about half an hour of survey on our end. We assumed based off of initial information and our scans, that the site was uninhabited. I mean—it’s a decommissioned testing facility for something way more boring than what we’re usually sent for. Why the f— would there be… things living there. Things. They weren’t human. They weren’t me either. We triggered the call-back sequence because I watched everything go white so fast I thought I was seeing the inside of my skull. Ex is the only reason I got out alive. I’m sure he’s… thrilled. AQNA: Were you unable to retrieve the body and equipment of [#7716]? Hels: I didn’t see him. On account of the pulse grenade. Did you watch the footage, or should I be playing narrator? [No AQNA Text Question Generated] Hels: I don’t know where he is. I don’t know what they did to him. We lost all his vitals when the pulse fried our equipment at the site.  Interviewer: Can you elaborate on the status of [#7716]? Hels: What do you mean elaborate? What—he’s probably dead. Is that what you want to hear? He’s f—ing dead. He’s dead, you piece of shit machine. Go ask somebody else what they think. [No AQNA Text Question Generated] Interviewer: Can you speak to [#6763]’s competence as potential squadron leader? [No verbal recorded response available]

Interview for: IIC Employee #6763
Stated Name: Exania
SESSION BEGIN
AQNA [Generated Text Question]:  Please explain the events of [stardate 2104.119]. Subject (Exania) [Recorded Verbal Response]: We failed to complete our extraction procedure. I was able to reach the data site within an hour of touchdown, alongside the rest of the team. We successfully retrieved the abandoned facility data within our allotted time frame, but on the way back to extraction, we were ambushed and caught in the line of fire of the inhabitants that had taken over the facility. I was able to successfully extract the bridge crew and one other member of the drop-squad. AQNA: Can you elaborate on the events that triggered the call-back sequence? Exania: We were attacked? Someone started shooting. Someone threw a magnetizer and a pulse grenade. The two other drop-squad members took a majority of the flash, but it was bright. Everywhere was... painfully bright. I don't have much more to say on that. I just acted in the best interest of the team as second in command. AQNA: Were you unable to retrieve the body and equipment of [#7716]? Exania: He’s dead. What did you want us to do? Retrieve a handful of charred up equipment? I don’t think so. AQNA: Can you elaborate on the status of [#7716]? Exania: He’s dead. That’s it. AQNA: Can you speak to [#7717]’s competence as potential squadron leader? Exania: #7717? I can't.  AQNA: Can you elaborate? Exania: I can't. AQNA: Can't? Or won't? Exania: Does it matter? [No AQNA Text Question Generated] AQNA: Please elaborate on your specific involvement with the events of [stardate 2104.119]. Exania: I successfully extracted information from the facility on [REDACTED]. I successfully extracted my drop member #7717, Hels. We were unsuccessful at a full extraction of the entire crew. Look, did I not just say all of this? What's not clicking for you? I know you're just recording this answer looking for keywords. I'm not daft. I think we’re done. AQNA: You're excused. Exania: Thank you.

many things i have been keeping under wraps at work, such as pronouns, but also, very critically, age. bc i got that ageless mixed race asian swag where i am very clearly not an undergrad but also??? they just don't know. and it WHIPS and it is so funny to ME because all the managers and shift supervisors are like damn this girl in her mid-twenties is so easy to talk to, it's like talking to a peer. surprise bitch i'm older than you. and maybe this means i'm performing psychological experiments on cis men, but i am ngl if i hand you a two page resume that you don't read, it is simply none of MY business if you think i am in my mid-20s. they are going to be so mad when they find out lmao
#mild work crush i fear....his undefinable possibly autistic certainly overworked jock swag has captured the nation#i can't remember if he was the one who jumpscared the managers by just randomly showing up with a wife and baby one day#when they thought he was a confirmed bachelor#it might have been the other shift supervisor who hates talking to people#it def wasn't the business school supervisor bc that guy is tasing himself recreationally while getting an mba. idiot <3#i love my job it is so boring and so entertaining at the same time. it's like the perfect balance of annoying and enriching#i wrote an entire fic at work once. and was still able to do everything i needed to do. and heard an absolutely bananas story#from the housekeeper about suing the city#i love the housekeeper every 3rd word out of her mouth i'm like ma'am are we allowed to say that in 2025 😭#i wish i could work there forever but i cannot. and when i quit the fic and/or zine i write/make about is going to go CRAZYYYYY#i think i text like 5-8 different people at least once a week about stupid shit i witnessed at work and the hot guys also#cannot forget the hot guys. so many hot guys. and they are all so stupid and annoying and sometimes charming also#i wish i could wear shorts to work bc my ass looks great rn from strength training#unfortunately my uniform is athleisure wear that doesn't fit and a free flyers sweatshirt that also doesn't fit lmao#when i learn to dress myself. it's over for you hoes#was talking to my strength trainer this week bc they asked if they could use me as a case study for trauma informed something#i kind of wasn't listening bc i just started talking immediately about the emotional effects of not having severe chronic back pain#and now being stronger has made me at its very base just more confident and kind to myself (inasmuch as i'll ever be)#bc i know my body better and i'm not scared of it and i can predict how it moves and i can trust it in ways i could not before#just from not knowing it? like even beyond the chronic pain i just did not know how my body moved and what it was capable of#& how one thing that is so silly but so nice is the feeling of being attractive as MYSELF for the first time in my life and not just#a vehicle for everyone to project whatever weird mpdg stuff on. and it's NICE and it's FUN that i know how my body moves as itself!!#like idk is finding confidence in my body the poetry. the strength training. the being in my 30s. the being too tired to care anymore#WHO KNOWS. none of my business#in conclusion. i would love to say i haven't been having a five stage mental breakdown all week but i have but i think it finally resolved#and now i have a new bed courtesy of sierra and kelly!!!!#and after i find out how much i owe in 1st/last month's rent? it's cricut time#ok good night#fresno oilers.txt

i feel like a lot of the people who complain about the comics are more often just complaining about things that are flaws with the medium than the actual quality of the writing itself.
like brother we only get like 30 pages every six weeks, at best! they can only fit so many panels and so much dialogue on each page! unfortunately yeah some interactions will probably feel rushed because of that and usually the writers are even more annoyed by it than you are
like i dunno man sometimes it's not because the writers are bad at their jobs (they aren't, btw.) sometimes it's because deadlines and length requirements limit the medium
it's for this reason i really wish SEGA would put out more content in the form of short stories or even novels

Seriously though, I love his character design so much, it was so fun to color! And considering it’s my first time drawing one of the Rumble Pack members, I think I did a pretty good job!
Tell me what you think! Should I try my hand at the others?
